1. Return & Exchange Eligibility
- Time Frame: You have 30 calendar days from the date of delivery to initiate a return or exchange.
- Condition: Items must be returned in their original, unused, and unworn condition. They should have all original tags attached and be packed in the original shoe box or packaging. The original box is considered part of the product and must be returned in good condition to complete the return.
- Proof of Purchase: A valid order number or receipt is required for all returns and exchanges.
2. Non-Returnable Items
For health and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on the following items:
- Socks and Hosiery (if the packaging seal is broken).
- Any worn or damaged footwear. Shoes that show signs of wear, are soiled, or have been obviously worn outdoors will be refused and sent back to the customer.
- Final Sale Items: Any item marked as “Final Sale,” “Clearance,” or with a significant discount is non-returnable and non-exchangeable. This will be clearly stated on the product page.
3. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
Please follow these simple steps:
- Contact Us: Within the 30-day window, please email our customer service team at cabirkenstock.com with your order number and the items you wish to return or exchange. Alternatively, you can use the Contact Us form on our website.
- Receive Instructions: We will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and detailed instructions on where to send your package. Returns shipped without an RMA number may not be processed.
- Ship Your Return: Carefully pack the unworn items in their original box and place them inside a shipping box. Mail your return to the address we provide. We highly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service, as you are responsible for the return shipping costs and the parcel until it arrives at our warehouse.
4. Return Shipping Costs
- The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the return is due to a defect or an error on our part (e.g., wrong item shipped).
- Shipping costs for the original order are non-refundable.
5. Processing Your Return
- Once we receive your return, our team will inspect the item(s) to ensure they meet our return conditions.
- Please allow 5-7 business days for processing after we receive your package.
- Upon approval, your refund will be issued to the original method of payment used during purchase. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
6. Exchanges
- We currently offer exchanges for a different size of the same item, subject to availability.
- To exchange an item, please follow the return process outlined above. In your email, clearly state that you are requesting an exchange and specify the new size you need.
- If the desired size is unavailable, we will issue a refund to your original payment method.
7. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
Your satisfaction is our priority. If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us immediately at cabirkenstock.com with your order number and photos of the product and its packaging. We will arrange a prepaid return label for you and will either send a replacement free of charge or process a full refund, including your original shipping costs.
8. International Returns
Please note that international returns may be subject to custom duties and taxes, which are non-refundable. These costs are the responsibility of the customer.
9. Store Credit
In certain circumstances, we may offer store credit as a refund method. This credit will be issued via a unique code and emailed to you. It can be used for future purchases on cabirkenstock.com.
